SW holds “approved supplier” status with the Government of B.C. and regularly supports press conferences and government announcements throughout the province.

Recently Premier Christie Clark presented to the Kelowna Chamber of Commerce luncheon at the Delta Grand Okanagan Resort. SW was contracted to deliver the communication technology for the premier’s speech and presentation which included dual screen projection for power point, deluxe podium, backdrop, lighting and a press feed for the visiting media.

Vancouver Convention Centre: Canadian Video Games Awards

SW Audio Visual’s Vancouver Team, delivers a unique but inspiring show for the first Annual Canadian Video Game Awards at the New Vancouver Convention Centre’s New West Building.

Production planning on the Canadian Video Game Award Show started months in advance . The award show included a symphony perfromance interspersed with a complex awards program.

SW audio visual oversaw the delivery and set-up of all the production elements including sound, lighting, video, set design, tele-prompting, and show direction.

BC Tourism Conference at Vancouver Hyatt

The BC Tourism Industry conference brings together all provincial sectors from accommodation, transport, resorts, attractions, tourism associations, industry suppliers and educators. The conference unites the industry, updates participants on the latest advances and recognizes outstanding contributions to tourism.

SW was there to provide  conference and meeting audio visual services and consultation to the BC Tourism conference. “The Hyatt was a great hotel to work in; the high ceilings made the set look really large and impressive”, commented Eric Doucet, Regional Manager of the Lower Mainland SW Office.

From data projectors, screens, computers, conference and meeting PA sound systems and equipment – SW provided peace of mind and comfort to the organizers and guests.

2007 Mastercard Memorial Cup

SW was selected as the official audio visual supplier to the 2007 tournament and provided a number of technical services and equipment ranging from temporary power to concert sound.

The MasterCard Memorial Cup is one of Canada’s most popular Hockey Tournaments that began in 1918 as a memorial to the Canadian Dead of World War One. It’s an intense tournament that includes teams from across North America and has grown to include a large number of after game concerts and events that instill the host city with energy late into the night.
