Virtual Audio Visual Vineyard At the Kelowna Delta Grand Hotel

SW Audio Visual has provided audio visual services for meetings and conferences at the Delta Grand Resort and Conference Centre in Kelowna BC, for nearly 18 years.

Led by Ben Pidskalny – SW Audio Visual’s General Manger for the BC Interior –  this project started with a client consultation and briefing using CADD drawings of the Delta Grand Okanagan Resort and Conference Centre’s main ballroom floor.

Working together with the Client, Ben and his crew determined the technical implementation to best achieve the Client’s vision. The project started with a single screen in the centre with white drape on either side, but to include an awards gala presentation,  the 7 screen setup quickly became the best and most economical solution to achieve all the Client’s requests.

Using hi-res panoramic HD shots, Ben and the crew broke the images into 7 segments to be projected on each screen, cycling through the various panoramic images every few minutes to create the nice effect of an 80-foot video backdrop.
